Just get extra electronic ign parts and have them not connected up , in dash or other area, and any impulse shouldn’t wipe them out as long as not connected to anything to take a charge . In other words just get older vehicle , get extra ign parts for distributor, put them in glove box in plastic case. Should be ok.

I will be planing to do a full restore.

12 valve Cummins, 89 to 98 Dodge truck. Any military truck. Old Datsun or Toyota diesel truck. Another advantage of mechanical injection is most will run on diesel, coal oil, fryer oil or gas and oil mix.

I had an older ford courier truck….’83 (?) uses Mazda engine I think…. This would fit the bill
