That's a pretty serious accusation with what I presume would be legal ramifications. What is on the receipt?

its not just an accusation , it just the plain truth, and whats on the receipt is the price for a new gun, and the head of the gun dept down there tried to stand there and tell me it wasnt used , this isnt my first rodeo , as i said i know guns, and as for legal ramifications , i say if they so choose to do so then please bring them on as i have full services of the hyatt law group, and thank you for bringing that to my thought , the hyatt group will also protect me against preditory marketors ,i didnt think of that, hey this is good thanks man.

I had asked if they had used a credit card. They had not. His wife was told it was new. He says it's not. If a credit card was used then this is the very place to do that. Sadly cash was used.

Edit: If a credit card was used an investigation by the issuer would take place.

What is there to investigate? I have seen "new" never fired guns with rust on them. Does not take away the fact it was "new". Id just not shop with them and be damn proud my wife bought me a gun.

Slow your roll. I meant legal implications against THEM! If someone sold my wife a used gun and represented it as new, I PROMISE you, it would get settled to my satisfaction either voluntarily by them or otherwise. There is presumably a way via their logs to prove if this was in fact a first sale of that gun or not. I'm not doubting your word. I'm doubting whether such a thing should end quietly...

One of the dirtiest firearms I ever saw was a 'new' Ruger rifle I won at a banquet. The bolt face was actually ETCHED from residue. Dealer was zero help. I tried my best to clean it and then sold it without ever firing it with full disclosure.

yeah it happens! I test drove a new car that had a wicked stink to it. Not to mention the alignment was off and it had 32 miles on it.

I appreciate your thoughts, but im not gonna be Damn proud of the fact that they took advantage of my wife cause she didnt know anything about guns, and to just walk away and not shop with them any more dos nothing to stem them to correct their actions on future unknowing customers, and rust wasnt an issue on this gun it was wear, i think every one that may be a future customer of this business should know what business practices they use, to just say and do nothing and roll over for them is what the democrats would want you to do, it takes all of us working together to stand up to these type businesses , if they are gonna be a fly by night business then we can all do our part to change their dealings by simply passing the word on to others

Uhh he says it was used. They will investigate and rule. It's moot as they didn't use a CC, but if I was in the same position and thought my girl was ripped(and she used a CC), I'd do it. There is nothing to lose.
