Is the question at hand, that if you have this muzzle device that someone will assume there is a suppressor involved?

Wouldn't imagine that's enough to make a search warrant! Don't get caught with anything that would slip on it, that is not currently registered!

Exactly what I was getting at, just looking to see what others opinionated at for it

You are correct, and yet I just HAD to know why someone would think that changing out muzzle brakes would be considered a "gray area" when they are perfectly legal, sold everywhere and not regulated. I have my answer, thanks.
