What’s you ideal 9mm AR build

My AR-9 SBR is all PSA too. Colt fed. Runs well enough to form 1 it.

But then I got this and I haven’t looked back.....

still own the SBR but it sits in the safe un-touched. Debated pulling it off the registry and throwing a brace on it for sale

I just started on parts for a similar build, but am second-guessing myself. How is the reliability and more specifically, how is the reliability with a standard upper. I think they suggest the ejection port be opened up for optimal reliability and I am not willing to do that and don't want a non-matching upper. How has your reliability been?

Haven’t had an issue yet, but have only ran 2 mags through. I read a lot of posts from others that didn’t use an oversized port and they had no issue, but I went with the Aero XL upper anyway. I wish they had an M4E1 XL upper to match my aero lower.

Its great for what it is.
It was better than an
AR15/AR9 blowback.
Great combo if you like Glocks.


The problem is I have other 9mm I like way more.
MK57 Banshee 5.7x28
(not 9mm but awesome)
Zenith Mp5/RS 9mm
PSA AK-v 9mm

For a truck/get home gun it is a contender.
Light..accurate with a red dot.

Saw them at a show recently. Looks like they have been making them for quite a while. Lots of options - 9/40/45, pistol/rifle builds as well as a variety of magazine options (Glock/Sig/Colt/MP5).
