Yes i stole that question from another Survivalist site but I like to ask myself that question and think it might be neat to see what everyone else did this week to prep for SHTF.

1. Finished and stocked our chicken coop. 4 layer hens 10 wks old
2. Purchased 4 new blueberry bushes to put in the ground this weekend.
3. Pickled 4 jars of jalapeno peppers.
4. Went target shooting.

What did you do?

I added a few obstacles to my shooting/training course and trained with the pistols and carbines. Raised my radio tower another 20ft. That's all I did this past weekend. Over the past year we've been doing things here and there to be better prepared for different scenario's of disaster.

1. counted and organized ammo
2. also picked a peck of peppers to pickle :)
3. dried and packed seeds
4. rotated out a case of bottled water
5. organized dried foods (need more)

You know, actually it does not hurt to compile an inventory list of what you have on hand. It can be as simple as a spiral notebook or you can fancy and make up an excel spreadsheet.

It does help to know at a glance what you have. I'd recommend breaking it down into categories like food/medicine/gear, etc. The more extensive your prep, the easier it is to lose track of what you or don't have. (or even where you put it)
