What do you do?

Very simple-- Tell your girlfriend you have nothing to hide---but if you ask me a question about my past are you women enough to except the answer..:rip:

Just tell her you're tell her everything. Then, sit her down with a very serious face. Start the convo with, "This one time, I had this goat and......". She'll stop asking questions about what you're hiding.

What do you do when someone tells you "If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear"? This someone is who I am planning on marrying (although at this particular moment I am putting that in question). I've sensed this for a while, but now it is coming to a head. Trying to remain level headed and not erupt on her, although every hair is standing on my neck. Your help on this?

Initiate some random unannounced searches of her computer and cell phone, as well as her call records from her cell and home phone provider and then do a precursory e-mail search and maybe even check her GPS in her car or on her phone via Google maps.... when she protests tell her "If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear"....see if she likes it :)

I have to disagree. I am in my 30's and still use facebook and do not use it to troll for ass as you say. I have a facebook account primarily as a simple way of keeping in touch with my military friends regardless of where they are in the country and even while they are deployed.

Sorry to high jack here but…

Come back and comment again in 10 years and you'll have a different answer. You and all your military friends are still in deployment and field work. In 10 years that will have changed. I was USMC and was deployed in ODS and can completely understand your reasons but in your 40's much of that has changed and you've moved on to a new stage in your life.

Facebook in the OP's situation had not been explained and is obviously a point of friction (he had to give her his password once already) so I'm pointing pointing out that it has already been an issue and will most likely still be one.
