What do you prefer to carry in Summer? Snub Nose Revolver or Sub Compact Semi?

No love for the Sig P365? If you listen to the gun video guys and writers they make it sound like the best thing since sliced bread. I have been considering purchasing one. I currently have a Kahr PM9, but like the extra capacity of the P365 without increase in size.

Might want to check out all the stories of broken firing pins on the P365. Sig says nothing to see here... Move along.

The trigger on the Ruger LCRx, 5 shot extremely light weight revolver blows away the triggers on the J-frame S&W's hands down.
Personally, I alternate between the Ruger LCRx and the S&W Shield with Talon grips depending on the situation, what I am wearing and what I am doing of course. I have a bright green Williams Fire Sight on the LCRx and Tru-Glo Pro night sights on the Shield. You will need an extremely strong sight pusher/removal tool when removing the sights on the Shield however.

Happy packing! ;-)

I like that . You mind explaining what all you did there ?
trijicon night sights, 2 Taran tactical grey s3f solutions plus 2 mags, cerakoted slide to match mag extensions, 3.5lb connector, s3f solutions gold( tin) fluted barrel. I think that was it. It was sweet and it did hurt to get rid of, got it exactly how I wanted it.

If money was no object, get both a pocket size .38 J frame of your flavor and get a subcompact double stack pistol like a Glock 26/27 or S&W M&P9/40c. I carried the 442 airweight for a while in my shorts front pocket and really enjoyed it, however I love having a subcompact doublestack also so I picked up a M&P40c for IWB carry and really happy with it. Next J-frame I want and recommend would be a steel frame one for durability and recoil softening for just about 2-3 more ounces of weight.

I like that 640 with the magnas. I love wood stocks. That's what I am aiming for is either that or a 649 in .357 and putting magnas on it for both traditional look and it not sticking in the pocket and feeling bulky.
I agree 100%. Love the look and feel of wood grips. They are easier for me to conceal and I’m able to control the gun when I shoot. Plus, Steel and wood just looks classy!
