Honestly, I've never really given it much thought until lunch today. I was sitting at a counter having lunch, checking the weather/news/trader on my phone as usual when I started over hearing a conversation a few seats down from me. The long and short of the conversation is one guy was saying aside from firearms the GWL covered brass knuckles, slapjacks and a bunch of other wild stuff and the other guy was telling him he was wrong.

So, my question is what does the GWL cover? I'm genuinely curious at this point.

A Weapons Carry License is good for 5 years no matter where you might move to. It costs between $70 and $78. A Weapons Carry License covers open and concealed carry of handguns and knifes with a blade of 5in or longer and made for offense and defense. The Weapons Carry License is also exempts a firearm buyer from a NICS background check.

So, no nunchucks?

@Berny is gonna be pissed!

I though the Gwl made long knives, switch blades, brass knuckles, etc. legal to carry. I don't carry the knuckles and my knives are mostly under 4", so I never looked that closely. I looked at its as a "weapons" license.
