Judge aint as bad ass as people think it is...nasty round but not necessarily on par with the 500 or 460

Not really sure..I'm using winchester PDX in the one I'm trading off today, as far as ft lbs energy ur only talking about 300...compared to nearly 2000 with the 500 and 460..

S&W 500 or 460. I own the 460xvr with the 8 3/8 barrel and it's not as bad as you might think,heavy and it realy gives me more of a little push back rather than crazy muzzle rise. Very flat shooting with a 200 grain bullet and you can use 45 long colt,454 casul,or 460 ammo.

There are some really sick Thompson Contenders and Encores in rifle calibers out there with massive amounts of energy. If you want something with more than one shot there are several bolt action hunting handguns in rifle calibers. As far as wheel guns the .500 S&W mag is the current big bad bear bopper.
