What is the dumbest thing you've seen/heard in a gun shop?

Had a guy looked like a kid fresh out of high school, Tell me that ruger did not make a semi auto 22, when I wnet to go see if they could order a 10/22 a few weeks ago at walmart. I have not seen him back there since. B ut I did tell a manger that I knew what took place, his words were pricless, "Is that boy retarded or something that we have had more than a handfull of people complain about him"

I overheard two girls at Adventures. Girl asked the clerk "what does 9mm shoot", before he could answer the other girls says "that's for revolvers only".

Had a girl shooting beside me at a gun store / range. I thought she was doing a lot of dry fires. Then she ask me to help her see why her gun was not shooting. I checked for a live round and dropped the mag and discovered she had the ammo in backward. She said it was much easier to load that way than the other way.

I know some people have no other place to shoot but,This is why I WILL NOT SHOOT AT A RANGE!!

I was at "Guns Fishing & other Stuff" indoor range in Vacaville CA. A 5' short, obese guy came in wearing a loaded black tac-vest & drop holster. I mean he looked like he was ready for the big time. To top it all off, he had a hot bombshell in tow, I mean smoking hot (no lie). She was obviously new to shooting, and he was her teacher, but seriously? I wish that I had snapped a picture of that PIMP. LOL.

Does it irk anybody else when somebody sweeps you with the muzzle of a gun that came out of the display case? It does me! And it happens alot. Yes the gun is unloaded but it is the whole principle of the thing! I just shake my head but I bite my tongue.

my daughter and I were in Chucks the other day. Every pistol the clerk showed her, was chamber checked and placed on safety. He told he she didn't have to do that. He was undoing what she's been taught. The safety might be a bit much but she's a little OCD sometimes. It's amazing to stand back when it's crowded and witness all the sweeping.

Well, just heard a new one. Customer buying a used HiPoint C9 at Shots Fired just told the clerk that he is a "competition M16 shooter" and wanted them to order him a new one when his tax return comes back.

I was in Arvin's Pawn today browsing and there was a grown man beside me looking at a full size Glock. I looked over at him one time and he was twirling it on his finger. IDIOT! I was surprised the owner didn't say something to him.

Years ago, I was at that gun store/range near the Forest Park farmer's market. The commando behind the counter was telling a couple that if a BG got an XD from you, they wouldn't know to depress the grip safety, so they wouldn't be able to use the gun against them.
