I was once pulled over by gwinnett county, after he checked my guns i asked him about carry laws. I didnt have a permit at the time, he told me that it was completely legal to OPEN CARRY over the age of 21 without a permit. His words were that the permit is simply to CONCEAL the weapon not to carry it and that I could open carry anywhere that guns are allowed. Also whenever I had asked him this two of his fellow officers had showed up, I guess because i had guns??? idk. So thats three cops that agreed on that. I dont know how true this is im just passing along what i heard from them.

Was told the exact thing at the Douglas County Sheriff's office.

Looking for some 45lc for my Judge I was kindly told by the gentlemen behind the counter here you go 45acp it is the same thing. His boss overheard what I was told and as I walked out shaking my head you could hear his boss who I believe to be his father giving him a verbal thrashing about being a dumb***.
