Been taking a single shot 30.06 ...now yall got to thinking maybe the bolt action 308. Or sks. I dont know now..dang yall
May take one of my thumpers as well, but will probably stick with the Rem 700 .308 with the can screwed on it.

I vote for the SKS, someone else needs to be using 7.62x39 steel case ammo besides me. Under 150 yds, more than enough for GA whitetails.
Most times for deep woods hunting Ill take my sportered Lee Enfield jungle carbine 303 Brit. I killed my biggest buck with it. Dropped like a sack of tators and didn’t flinch once. Longer range hunting over food plots I usually take my M77 mk2 25-06. I recently got my Howa mini in 6.5 Grendel. Im anxious to blood it.
