Its only a 7lb gun out the box before the glass, can, etc.

This will be my first year hunting with a rifle since 2009. Fort Gordon opened up 3 areas to rifle hunting this year. I'll have my 7.62x39 AR. I bought a couple 5 round mags just for hunting.

I’m pretty sure you can hunt with a 30rd mag now. Never know when you might need an extra 25 7.62’s lol

I’ll be using my marlin 30-30 with a 3x9-40 leupold.
