That is true. AR's not holding value but I hope my organs do.

The msrp on the 6.5 creedmore is just over 2k. At this point it looks like with their jacked up msrp(m&p sport is tagged at $739). I will be lucky to come out of the deal with anything I can clear $800 for. Add in all the trouble and I'm effectively done dealing with S&W. The list of firearms manufacturers I am willing to give my money had shrank significantly in the past year. CZ had my business. They sent me a newer model p07 due to a cosmetic(yet not repairable) problem. No questions and didn't ask for me to pay them extra for it. Sad state of affairs. I never expect a company to fix a problem due to use or abuse. I do expect them to fix it with no loss to me when they sell a defective product. Maybe I would think differently if I had more to resources to burn.
