whats it worth? 96 ez go golf cart

i just took out 1 of the 6v's and put in a car battery
drove it around out in the rain. the brakes are draggin
and i have a loose connection on 1 of the batteries.

not sure if running it on 42V did any real damage
but probably wasnt a good idea

the cart is stuttering but im attributing that
to the low charge/loose connection.

maybe i will continue to fool with it later.

so its a fixer upper that needs some love.

Get yourself 4 12v blemished batteries from a good battery store. you cans build a lift kit for it and find some cheap wheels and tires. Rattle can it the sell it for a profit it you don't want to keep it.

Not a good idea to run it below its nominal voltage. A 48V should be run from around 52v "full" down to about 48.5-49v "dead". Going to low can burn up the motor controller, SCR's arnt to fragile but MOSFETS will burn up pretty easy. Will damage batterys too. Putting in 12v's will save a lot of money but you loose a little runtime.
