The new design includes an unnecessary apostrophe. The new Glock's might be awesome. I'm not in the loop. It doesn't matter to me one way or the other, I don't own any Glock's and not planning to unless I like the new design whatever it may be

I don't know if you're right or wrong... but it makes sense how you said it and your spelling was perfect. You've also been quite accurate in the past. So, I agree with you 100%. Screw the rest of the ODT.I have not read all the redundant and panic stricken austistic, so please excuse if this has been posted. Glocks through Gen 5 are easy to put a giggle switch on. Especially now that switches can be 3D printed. Gen 6 had a minor change to prevent the installation of switches, but Cali said no go. Glock is making a change to the sear, iirc, that will prevent the use of switches. Probably in a move to get ahead of the lawsuits filed by Illinois, Maryland, etc. Roughly a half a dozen states have filed lawsuits againt Glock because of how easy and prolific switches are.
Smart move imo. Also, California ranks #3 in guns sales behind Texas and Florida.
The California law will ban the sale of any gun with a sear system like Glock. It does not make the existing guns illegal to own. Not yet anyway.
This will not put Glock out of business or kill their sales in the US. Too many law enforcement agencies use Glocks. Glocks are also one of the best selling guns in the US.

Ultracrepidarians does not require an apostrophe.I watched a few gun videos and read a couple of articles. So, my information is as accurate as my research sourcing. I can be wrong. I'm sure one of the resident ultracrepidarian's will correct me.
You don't think an international company the size of Glock, with as many stakeholders as they have, has an obligation to ensure that they can continue to operate profitably in a changing political landscape? The gun operates the SAME as it always has. It's a semi-auto pistol, but helps to avoid lawsuits that could sink them. They're the bad guy here?
I will NOT simmer down, lol.Simmer down. I never said they were “the bad guy here”. I happen to own a few of their firearms. It’s just my opinion. I feel this is calculated to placate these liberal politicians. It’s not an outlandish position to take. Sorry I expressed it here and triggered the Glock golden calf crowd.
I will NOT simmer down, lol.
Anyway, I don't like the capitulation either, but I understand why they did it. I likely won't buy a new V model Glock, just use the Gen3s that I already have.
