Why on Earth a person would choose to make Manhattan style when they have potatoes, onions, butter, bacon fat and half & half cream is beyond me. I'll eat Manhattan style but I won't make it.

Manhattan style = Bring water to a boil, add clams and ketchup. Cook 20 minutes then throw in the trash.
