Just trying to see where everyone is getting powder at. Seems the hazmat and FedEx charges are almost as much as the powder itself. Currently looking for some Hodgdon TiteGroup.

I'm not desperate enough to pay that hazmat fee joke. I wait until I see what I'm looking for at gun shows or stores.

Buying powder, primers, and bullets = buy in bulk. If you can't use bulk quantities need to make friends and split up order to make HAZMAT and shipping less painful. If you buy reloading supplies in small quantities, then maybe just buy factory ammo.

Brunos just had a deal if you buy 10lbs of Varget and get free HAZMAT. Powder Valley has something similar. That is a clue that powder supply chain may be caught up.

Just went to Academy Sports in McDonough because they were showing stock. TiteGroup was $29.99/lb and more than one in stock. Of course, they did have to "walk" my powder up to front to purchase. BTW, they had more in the lockup in the gun dept if anyone needs some.

I wait until I can buy a couple thousand primers or a couple of pounds of gun powder. Some times I buy on holiday weekends when many places offer free shipping or discounted shipping/hazmat. I live in rural south Ga and have never bought powder from a brick and mortar store. I have only purchased primers and that was last year I stumbled upon some at an academy while on vacation.

I found some bullseye at Midway and hate to pay the price but its what my snubs love under wadcutters. I have plenty of titegroup
