Which new truck? f150 or ram?

I finally have decided to buy my first brand new truck. I'm torn between an ecoboost f150 and hemi ram. I'm looking at 2wd crew cabs. I'll be towing a small box trailer and boat frequently. My father in law has a ecoboost f150 and I'm very impressed with its power and efficiency. However ive read about issues with these motors online but most of them have been from guys with 2011 model trucks. Cosmetically I think the dodge looks better but the interior seems nicer in the Ford's. I'm gonna test drive them both this weekend and that will help alot but I wanted to hear from guys with some experience with either truck. I'm in construction and will be hauling tools and wood everyday. I really need this thing to be a perfect balance of rugged work truck and luxurious family vehicle if that makes sense.
Please don't come in here and say buy a Toyota or Chevy. I've narrowed or down to these two

Ford!! I've got 206,000 miles on my 02 fx4 and it runs like a top! My father bought a brand new dodge in 2009 and the power steering pump and tie rod went bad a year after he bought it. AND the back window leaks to this day after multiple attempts to fix it, even after replacing the whole rear window. Finally going out of warranty and dodge refusing to attempt anymore repairs. That made my mind up about dodge!

The Dodge will be more car- like in ride. The Ford will be a higher quality truck for the long term.

I'd go with Ram. The new rams are outstanding! I had my 2010 since new and not 1 problem ever.

Ford FTW! There's very good reason Ford F series were the number one selling VEHICLE (not just truck) in the US for many, many years.

Have a relative that works for a company in Alabama that has Fords and Dodges as fleet trucks. He says the newer dodges spend more time in the shop than they do on the road.

I'm partial to the Dodge, but I doubt you would go wrong with any of the "Big Three"

One thing to keep in mind though...Ford did not take any "stimulus" money...
