Which new truck? f150 or ram?

Ford didn't take the bail out !!!!!

Eco boost is a powerful engine with potential for a lot more and tows and rides fantastic

ram is great too, lots of power if you get the 3.92 gear ratio and not the 3.55

any load on the rear the ass sits very low, but is the design of the coil spring system but looks like the truck can't handle a load though.

Hemi rides great but they have their issues

paints suck and you need to inspect it all over for flaws, they are painted in mexico and they do a horrible job
rear end recall but not on the 3.92
their factory wheels all of them are off balance and has a vibration at 70mph, the factory goodyears are horrible tires and will not last long at all.

It would have to be ford for me. I have a 93 f150 4x4 short box with 260k hard miles on it and still runs fine. Last year I bought a new fx4 loaded (except ecoboost) absolutely love it.

Maintenance is key to make anything last longer, so make sure you look at programs they offer if your not a big do it your self kinda of guy.

Your first new truck experience should be an exciting time, that being said if you feel like your not getting a fair shake at a stealership move on. There's a bunch out there including other states.

I've heard nothing good about Ecoboost, I actually know someone who had one for a week and traded it in on an F250. I wouldnt trust the Ecoboost yet, its got too many strikes going against it at the moment, new engine, lots of issues and a recall, turbo= more wear and tear. The Hemi is a proven engine and will last.

Wait, the 2014 Dodge will be offering an available V6 TurboDiesel and Ford will then be forced to follow suit with a V6 TD in the F150. Ford has been running this engine for years in Europe and is a proven engine. I would take a V6 TD over the ecoboost hands down.

Every Dodge I have been around has been a money drain. ALWAYS having issues. Ford has issues too, but doesn't seem to be nearly as constant.

Ford for sure and i dont like either. The transmissions in the dodge will cost you lots of money. The ford looks so much better, i would hate to look at a dodge everyday, no offense intended for dodge owners. A friend of mine dated a lady that worked at a dodge dealershipnand they used to ride horses with the owner and he said they had tons of issues with transmissions. That was a few years ago maybe they have improved. I would check out reviews.
