i love my rodeo. i've had 3, all of them 4x4, all of them have been great off road, but i have been wanting to get a wrangler for a long time now. but they ain't no jeep rock crawler.

how do u guys like ur wranglers? what kinda mods do u do on them? are they all 4x4? would love to see pics if u got them. i'm loyal to my rodeo so it'll be a few years b4 i even am in the market for one. so i'm starting now and trying to gather as much info as i can

The amount of cash and work that it takes to create a REAL crawler from a Jeep can be done to your Rodeo as well.

Here's a pict of my old Rodeo with the stock IFS front. The trail is Beasley Knob near Blairsville.

Tag. I just go play in the mother-in-law's when I want to get out and get a vehicle dirty. I have no idea what all they did to it though.

solid axle swap your Rodeo and go from there. That's what I did to my 4Runner and it's pretty trail capable. Whatever you do, Buy once. Don't buy just a lift only to swap it later. Make a good choice once and spend the money then. PM if you have any questions. I even have most of a complete toyota from solid axle in my basement if interested.

Why do I see so many "rock-crawlers" without sliders? Is it just a West Coast/Alaska thing?
Budbuilt skid plates? All-Pro or ARB bumpers (saw a couple of those in the front, not rear)?
Not trying to be snippy, just asking.
