The hotter the better! Like horseradish on about anything. Use for cocktail sauce. Also mix horseradish with mayonnaise for sandwich,s and great on hamburger. I'll be ordering some.

Don't forget the gas mask. I attempted to make some from fresh horseradish root years ago. Didn't turn out too good. After a while of grinding the roots you could hardly breath in the house. Bout had to go get a motel room that night. Other than that I love it. Wasabi and Chinese mustard too.

over thanksgiving holidays my cousin busted out some special spicy brown mustard for pretzels, & we mix horseradish with sour cream on top of our beef tenderloin & prime rib with it and sautéed mushrooms when they come off the grill.

Both had some real amazing heat that was out of this world and it was all homemade by a guy in wisconsin. i thought i would share since I'm about to order some. it will make your nose run and eyes tear up straight out of the bottle

Sounds like something my wife would have liked. She was a fan of spicy and hot stuff. As for me, if I want my nose to run and tears in my eyes, I will just watch a rerun of Old Yeller.

I do the Mayo and Horse Radish on prime also, and when making Cocktail sauce, and of course on raw Oysters..

I'm right with you, lol.

I decided to can some spicy peppers a few years back and I about killed us all, even the fish had their eyes watering!
Was like dealing with toxic waste! We couldn't breath, we couldn't touch anything and it took days to feel like the air finally cleared. I will not do it again!

We have a place that is screened in and that certainly helps keep the eyes open, and the nose operational...

However the nose can still get very athletic...

My lady is from Germany and I get an ample supply of horseradish/spicy mustard on just about everything.
Especially good on Brats, with red cabbage and mashed potatoes.
I love it on good ole American hot dawgs too.
Am liebsten.
