Reliability and outright indestructibility. Requires almost zero maintenance. After decades of owning them I have so many holsters, magazines, etc that it would require something truly groundbreaking to justify replacing them with another platform.

Price and availability is also a factor. They are cheap enough and so available that I can easily replace one or acquire a spare if needed.

I have offices in other states and have Glocks locked up in relatives or coworkers safes in those areas so when I fly in I can have one without the hassle of flying with a handgun.
Man, I still remember seeing you throw a G19 across the Dobbs Defense shop at the hotdogfest, lol.

I like them because you can put that plate thing on the back and make them full auto and that way I look really cool to my homeboys. Plus, you can sell it for five times more than what you paid for it. Lol
All this and availability of the factory trailer park ghetto hood extendo clips that run 100%

I didn't like them for years due to the grip/fringer grooves, until I used a Glock 45. It felt good, I shot it very well, and a couple of years later, I have a couple. All Gen 5, as I still just don't like nor handle the previous gens good. I still like my Smitties, my Sig, and Caniks; however, when the nukes drop, I have to be honest about which one is coming with me.

Just think of all them clips/sticks I'll be able to pick up that have been left behind. 😂

**Edit** Nukes, clips, sticks is a joke. Sorry if you don’t get it. 🙄
