Meh, y'all can keep them poodle-shooters.

When y'all ready to put yo' big boy pants on you can step up to something like this.

I keed, I keed!

No need to dogpile on Hayata...

300 Blackout, baby. Don't look back!!! It's even good in a 4.5" barrel, and you can suppress it. Go Blackout, baby, go!

I had an ar15 when I was in high school like most people I decked it out and threw as much stuff on it as I could. Yeah I shot it a bunch but overall it never really impressed me and after dealing with army M16s I got rid of it I was over the platform and all the hype it had. It's no doubt a good and accurate rifle but like a baker around bread we spent so much time together I was done. Anyone else had some similar expirence?

I carried one for over 20yrs in the MILITARY, and I still have 2 for SHTF situation' s.

Not me. My time in the Marines had the opposite effect. I like the idea of having a weapon around that I can operate by muscle memory and trained habits, dis-assemble and re-assemble in my sleep and can easily acquire ammo in most circumstances.

Army for me but ditto.

just keep ARs basic. keep all the mall ninja operator stuff off it and its a great rifle. just because there is a rail there doesn't mean you have to put something on it.

Best of both worlds, an AR47, 30 caliber bullet from an AR, and cheaper bullets at that.
Delton lower & PSA AR47 upper runs like a factory built AR and no mag issues either.

Hayata Hayata got the garand area covered too probably my favorite rifle. I think my expirence ar was just a fluke thing. I usually work in cycles I'll probably get back at it one of these days.
