I have a spikes tactical lower. Only issues I have had was with the mag when the follower on the mag was allowing the ammunition to tilt forward. Called ASC they sent new Mag and I have not have any more problems. It is actually the gun I am shooting in my avatar

I'll have to look into Stoner mags. Did you have to do any modifications to them? Thanks
I have owned 4-5 different AR's in 7.62x39. I love the idea of the round in an AR platform but I have had nothing but issues with the Mags. I have tried every brand you can find as well as modifying the mags via the youtube method and still have feeding issues from time to time. The only mags that are GTG are the old Frankenmags and they are very hard to find and if you do find them you will pay $65-$70 each for them. I really wish Magpul or someone else would start building a mag for this platform or someone would start actually making an AR lower that would accept AK mags (that you can actually get your hands on and that doesnt take different BCG's etc) as I love the round in an AR. I just can not own a gun that no matter what I do I will have FTF issues.
I thought Rock River just came out with an AR that takes Ak mags???
It's no really an AR it takes a proprietary upper and Bcg.
Because the cool kids build 300 blackouts and pay a lot more for similar performance shooting supersonic that is . Don't you wanna be cool ? But really all the ones I have been around run like a top ,and all are shooting suppressed so a lot dirtier ,and they still run good .

I've yet to shoot my x39 upper with the can on, how does it sound compared to 556?
Yhm ti is a good bit quieter than 556 .Thompson 30 just a tad quieter than 556 ,and an old aac can cant remember model but about the same an 556 . I don't think quieter is a word ,but I am rolling with it .lol That all by ear no meter .
