They don't manufacture anything yet attempt to sell themselves as an iconic American firearms company.


XDs are made in Croatia
1911s are made in Brazil
M1s are made in Korea.

And the company Springfield Armory has nothing to do with THE Springfield Armory.

Different strokes for different folks. I'm a Glock guy and it shoots extremely better than my 26 or my old g30. Or I'm a better shot with it?? Who knows

It was one of the few poly guns ive liked. Put tons of rounds through it before i got rid of it maybe 6yrs ago.

i dont think theres more of em for sale than other items though. Glocks are high and mighty here, but are constantly being sold.

No haven't shot one yet, I guess I need to tho....

I love my XDs, I won't be getting rid of mine anytime soon. Have you ever shot one? If not my advice would be to shoot one and see if you like it or not before buying it. I've let a few friends shoot mine and most really liked it but a few didn't care for it at all.

the grip and they have a less normal sense of balance to them, it not everyones cup of tea, i had 45 xd once and it just didn't feel it was good for me

It just seemed to thin for me, I went the LCR 357 instead. I love the XDM 9 I have but just couldn't make myself like the XDS. Maybe if I shoot one I may change my mind but I didn't want to spend that type of scratch on something that didn't feel right. Maybe my hands were too big.

I dont know. I mean everyone knows of Glocks. Alot of people love them. I have 3 and love them but I see the xds for sale or trade all the time and its right after people claim they got them.......
