Would you register your firearms?

I'd register a couple (that I carry), but not the rest. The rest would get lost at sea in a tragic boating accident.

not till someone goes out to the mall on a shooting spree w/ it. just maybe thenDo i really need to register my BB gun ?

I sold ALL my weapons to the Government "Buy Back Program" So now I have enough money to go and get that Base Ball Bat I have had my eyes on. Course then again, the one I want would be classified as a "Assault Bat"
Everyone is taking a light hearted "boating accident" attitude to the idea of registration. Think about this scenario. Universal background checks pass. Of course whether they say it or hide it in the bill somewhere it will have to come with registration. There will be a lot of people who will not register their guns. How hard do you think it would be for them to get a judge to issue a search warrant? "This individual has purchased X number of guns and X number of rounds of ammo over the years. But has not registered any /or only one." Not to mention the probable reward system set up to encourage citizens to report violators. Metal detectors and ground penetrating radar will become standard issue for police departments
