Went to a gun store where they had all of the guns I wanted my daughter to hold and try out in her hand. I mean everything. Without any influence or coercion, she picked a Glock 43.
Of these two choices only, and only these two choices, which one would you prefer and why?
Major differences that I know of the Colt is a 1:7 barrel and the S&W is a 1:9, if I recall correctly. I think the Colt is not chrome lined and the Smith is?
Have/had quite a few 1006/1076s. Also the same with 10mm 1911s. Love the heft and feel of the Smith 10XX series. BUT.....the mags are stupidly expensive now. I puked when they hit $100, and now they are around $175-$200 each!!!
If you like 10mm and Smith, after the 10XX purchase, next will...
Saw a 625 Smith pre-lock and it had some type of circle under the cylinder release. If this circle where on top I would have surmised that someone put a cylinder lock plug in...but it is below the cylinder release.
Any thoughts?
Not sure if I missed it reading through all the pages, but I really feel what brought back the lever action gun, is the fact that a lot of people got cooped up in the house with COVID and binge-watched Yellowstone.
Come on, every wannabe cowboy has to have a lever action rifle!!!
Is it that easy to just drop in a G21 .45 barrel and use G21 mags into a G20, to shoot .45 out of a G20 frame/slide?
Does Gen 3/4/5 matter or the Gens have to match up?
I am not an HK guy, but a friend of a friend whose uncle's brother's aunt's cousin, who died in 1998, thought their High Pony carbine is an HK I do not know too much else about it, but it sure looked sharp. Are these in the same neighborhood $?
