2015 Chevy Silverado 4wd Z71?

Just drain and add new.

Did my 13 Durango 2 months back at 135k, took awhile to drain, nasty sludge, burnt.

Re filled, (about half capacity), shifts were much smoother.

I had very little particles in the bottom, clutches looked good.

I will repeat again next May.

Most of the horror stories I heard were about flushes, not drain and refill.

Now have almost 147k and smooth sailing.

Even the drop and drain is only gonna get about half the fluid

There's a lot still in the torque converter and cooler lines

As soon as the warranty expires on any pickup I would reprogram the shift points

I'm driving a '17 2500 Chevy and I absolutely HATE the Trans shift points

Computer : " have the tires rolled over one time "?

Sensor: "yes"

Computer : " shift immediately to second, then third , wait two seconds, then hit sixth to bog the engine and remove all power "

I keep the trailer tow mode activated just so the engine doesn't bog down all the time
