Go to Charlie Elliot (Clybel) outside range. It's a bit further, but is a much better set up for precision shooting.

I know synthetic is the durable choice but I just like a wood stock and I’m not scared of a scuff or two, adds character. I was surprised by how light it is.

My son shot his first deer a doe and his first Buck with a 243 a few weeks ago. Both deer were 125-150 yards and both dropped where they stood.

That is awesome. How old is he.

I haven’t yet. The guy I bought the gun from gave me a box of something with a plastic tip. I was going to pick up something affordable to sight it in with.
