.357SIG: What’s the point of this cartridge?

I'm cheap and I want centerfire defensive ammo to be reasonably priced, so I go with a 9 mm that lets me practice more often without feeling guilty about the money I'm spending/wasting just for fun.

But what I like about the 357 Sig is that it's a bottleneck pistol round--- meaning the bullet is being shoved towards a hole that is significantly wider than itself as it transitions from the magazine into the chamber.

This has to be a huge bonus for reliable feeding.

Where are you finding 357 SIG “+p+” ammo? Would you mind sharing pressure limits and any load data?
Man ment to type 357 sig loaded beyond 9+p+.
65 underwood 2000 fps 90 grizzly 1900 110 underwood 1600. I think the 90-110 is the sweet spot for this cartridge. If they made two piece steel cases like the 9mm shell shock tech . Im sure they could be pushed more . bullets start become the limitations when those speeds are hit. Maybe the solid extreme defenders would do well at 2300+

I had a cop buddy back in the day who's department switched to .357 SIG. They ended up getting rid of it due to the absurd amount of muzzle flash at night, making follow up shots near impossible.

Why not just get a cheap 7.62X25mm?
I had a couple of PPS mags about two years ago loaded with 7.62 Tok and I was wondering what I could do with them. Then I googled up an AR build using those same mags and a magwell block. It MAY have been a Macon Armory build. Cool as it gets though...until I found the price list.
