I understand, but too many put a priority on scores and not the tactics, which in all reality do more to keep you safe than the bullet.

There was a good article in RECOIL magazine called "The Experts: What They Carry and Why". They interviewed something like 10 gun toters (folks like Mike Pannone and Frank Proctor). Most were combat vets.

I don't have the article anymore, but do remember that nearly overwhelmingly the interviewees chose 9mm's as their everyday carry.
