45 host that won’t break the bank

gonna be buying a 45 can soon and was wondering what a good 45 host was that won’t break the bank.

Not a fan of glocks, and I already have a 1911, but it isn’t threaded.

Used HK USP 45. They can be hard for around $500-$550. The Sig P226 is a good 9mm host so maybe a P220?

1911s require barrels to be fitted to the slide and the bushing. price can increase pretty quick with adding a threaded barrel. Hence why I’m looking for a specific host, would like a suppressed 1911 but most of the threaded 1911s I see are $800+ woulf like to be around $4-$500

In that price range your option might be glock 21 and buy a threaded barrel maybe $100-150 more

I'd say spring for a HK Mk23.. However, those have become quite pricey.

Smith and wesson m&p mod 2 45acp. Comes threaded and sight..

I've got a P220 with a threaded Jarvis barrel I could possibly swap. I don't have a 45 can

HK45's have a new MSRP and are made in GA now - you could get an HK45 Tactical or the HK45 Compact Tactical in the $700 range. Or a used USP 45 and threaded barrel for probably even less.

But really - the ultimate .45 suppressor host is the Mark 23. There is no comparison. (They're like 1800 last time I checked - worth every penny )
