Here's the deal... I want to work up some JHP loads for the Tok round. Reloadable brass is expensive and impossible to keep track of. My question is :
I've got plenty of mil surp ammo. Would it be safe to pull the bullets, trash the powder, and load the JHP bullet behind a published charge of a given commercial powder? I can't think of any complications, other than the fact that the primer will be corrosive. No big deal. I clean up afterwards. Obviously, I will have to discard brass with split necks and probably apply a firm crimp. Anything else I need to consider?
