9mm vs .45acp vs .357sig 8/16/17

Didjya eat 'em after you shot 'em? 15 year old canned yam's

Actually yeah I did after the .357sig round went off a bunch of juice and chucks flew at me... I did taste some of that 15 yr old yam right off my forearm. Had a little funky smell but tasted normal lol

I've been told in 4 different local gun shops that a .45acp fmj will do the job....

This is the result boys.

I've met at least 4 guys on ODT that had 1911's filled up with FMJ's during a meet up

If I has to carry a 1911, I'd be wanting FMJ to maximize feeding reliability. But that'd only happen in a mad max situation where somehow my flock of Glocks was unavailable.

I'll be carrying the Eviction Hammer in .357sig the rest of the year.....

Several sites online including target sports sell 357 sig rds. for cheap but non believers still say you can't find it or too expensive ? Carry a 9 sometimes in the summer but have 1st hand knowledge of 8 of 17 rds. of 9mm bouncing off of a oncoming truck windshield. One of the rds. winged his shoulder. 357 sig/10mm would have ventilated the perp & popped open the tailgate. Nothing wrong w/45 but too heavy to lug.

p.s. Really like the refrigerator barrier post.

The trick with 357 sig is to make sure that you are getting full power rounds and not down loads. Most big box store commercial loads are barely hotter than 9+p. I only carry Underwood for my 357 sig and 10mm.
