AAC or Liberty?

i would eliminate AAC from consideration. Their customer service is so-so at best and with all the firings that have goneon there recently and talk of them moving, their future customer service certainly isn't expected to improve. I have shot most all their 22 cans, I own a Liberty Essence and have a sparrow waiting approval and shoot my friend's all the time. The difference in sound between them all is negligible except for a little FRP on the sparrow. Liberty has the best CS bar none. When you talk to Dave, you are talking to the owner of the company and builder of your can. Go to their shop on a demo day and you will be convinced. I love the sparrow and love my essence, the sparrow comes apart easy but that doesn't mean liberty's design is hard to diassemble, mine has never given me trouble even after 3k rounds. The sparrow will also give more first round pop than liberty's design. If I could only have one, I would go with the liberty. AAC would be my last choice of the 3. JMO based on my experience.

I am interested in seeing a spectre 2 and it seems to be a good price. The new surefire ryder looks like they tried to copy the sparrow. It's pretty but I am skeptical

Have two cans from AAC never a problem, always had good customer service, even if they are now owned by Remington. Forum on AR15 said that they were staying put in Lawrenceville/Buford area for the time being.

I love my Liberty Mystic. Works for .17, .22, .223 (no rapid fire), 300 Blackout, and 9mm. Like everyone else commenting on Liberty has said, great quality and great people.

I hate seeing smaller companies like AAC get bought out, BUT thats where the money is and I can understand it

Arfcom is full of people who have opinions and no actual knowledge. Even if aac doesn't want to move, it isnttheir call any more, they are at the mercy of the parent company, which fired the former owner, his wife and the longtime warehouse manager. I bought an sdn-6 on Saturday because I founda great price on one but it would take a pretty awesome price to choose aac over liberty on a 22 can for me
