AK understanding question

Why is it here on the ODT I see a lot of NPAP but I very rarely see the OPAP...
To my understanding it was a better made AK variant that's sold very well

There are a lot less OPAPs compared to NPAPs in general.

The OPAP rifles are a lot cooler than the NPAP. Go to 13:00 to see the complete rifle.

Are they a Better Built AK variant? I know they have thicker walls on the receiver oh, what about the under folders? Anything I should watch out for?

Poly????? No I don't think I've ever put that on a stock

The OPAP is more of a Military configuration and the NPAP is more of a Zastava commercial product. The recoil spring can be weak from the start or go weak soon on the NPAP. Best to replace it right off if you are going to shoot it much.

Opap 1.5mm receiver with a bulged front trunnion. as opposed to 1mm on Npap.
Opap was built from surplus mil parts
NPAP uses some new manufactured parts.
Both have Yugo Non-Chrome lined chf barrels if I remember correctly.

I think you pretty much nailed it. I am not an AK aficionado but I am working on one of these right now and just wanted to make sure I wasn't wasting my time
