Is a tight castle nut gonna twist back out over LOC tite?

Yes it can. All Loctite will do is bind the castle nut to the receiver extension. The receiver extension and the castle nut can still rotate as a unit. You have to lock the castle nut and the receiver end plate together to 100% prevent this rotation.

I’ve seen much better staking jobs than that. Probably used something similar to what SOLGW uses, which ground into a chisel shape.
