A lot of us here love our firearms and hunting heritage. I personally know many of you, like I live for the chance to pass along this love to our kids. I was thrilled when my kids showed an interest, and even more so now love having my little (and now not so little) hunting buddies. My son and I enjoy our time in the fields busting birds, and sitting in the woods waiting for a deer. This year we added a new hunting buddy with my daughter Emi Jane in the dove field, and now her demands to go deer hunting. I find myself again digging through the gun safe looking for what I can sell or trade with a bit of pride in my heart.

A safe and successful hunting season to all of you...

My son is my hunting buddy!!! Unforntuantely he has had a cold this weekend. But he is out of school all next week and I am on vacation so maybe he shoot one, hopefully in the morning!!

My son turned five today looking forward to the next few years
