Anyone here straight razor shave?

I live in a modern home but I camp. I have a car but I go walking. I have laptop with wifi but I still go to the libary.

I don't use a straight razor or a safety razor but I do use shave soap and a badger hair brush. I love a nice thick creamy lather.

Hmmm.... over a year I think. That was my first brush I brought off of a barber shop supply van. Was cheap, probably synthetic bristles but I recently got a Van Der Hagen kit:

After breaking in my first brush I was like, this isn't bad but when I got that badger hair, WHOA! you can really tell the difference. For some reason I can't get that soap to lather in my bowl that I've been using but now I just build the lather in the palm of my hand, maybe the friction from my hand builds a better lather, faster.
