AR in 7.62x39 - any feedback?

I have a couple AR47s that are set up on a standard AR-15 lower. They are mostly just range guns/plinkers for me.

1. The AR-15 platform is very familiar and an AR-47 is the same manual of arms. All the controls are the same, setup is the same, and I don't need new tools to work on the rifle.
2. Entry is cheap. It's easy enough to pick an upper and a couple of magazines and install on a lower that you already have. Magazines are not that expensive. AIM Surplus has been selling C-Products 28 round magazines for under $16 each. That's nothing compared to most pistol magazines. Ammo is cheap too. If you want to get out, you just sell the upper and the magazines.
3. I can't speak to durability, but I have not had any reliability issues. No problem at all running a PSA upper and C-Products magazines. I run a standard hammer and springs. I've heard that magazines can be finicky, but I have not experienced issues with feeding or hard primers. My intended purpose for these rifles is recreational, so I am looking at a couple hundred rounds per year through each. It would take about 6 years for me to get 2500 rounds through one of those rifles. If I was going to use them harder, I would probably just pick up an extra bolt, just for peace of mind.

I spoke to my Instructor buddy with the Citizen Arms 7.62x39mm AR. His runs great and he said it has 1 large feed ramp.

That particular one is a 10” pistol that I SBR’ed. The folding/collapsible stock is an older, out of production version. Found it on a SIG 556 forum and snapped it up.

It's bad ass. I love the set up. I figured it was sbr'd with that folding stock, but wasn't sure. I knew collapsible stocks had to be sbr'd. Either way it is sweet. I like 10" in a SBR. I suppose it takes standard AK mags?

I would much rather prefer a rifle caliber in a SBR over a pistol round.
