In case any one was uncertain about the private sale of a braced pistol, I located the relevant part in the new rule on page 93:
B. Options for Affected Persons
Current Unlicensed Possessors
(under option 2 describing submitting the firearm for the free form1)
To transfer an affected firearm to another individual after the date this rule is published, it must be registered in the NFRTR, and the individual must submit and receive approval on an Application for Tax Paid Transfer and Registration of Firearm, ATF Form 4; otherwise, the transfer is a violation of the NFA. See 26 U.S.C. 5861(e).

Anything new, besides the inexorable ticking of the countdown clock?
Buddy at LGS seems to think this one will get to court quicker than bumpstocks simply because of the number of braces involved vs the number of bumpstocks.

I never did find an MCK for my G45. The ones I do find I get no response. I guess they're too scared to trade them now
I think we're up to 4 or 5 lawsuits filed so far, although notably absent from filing a suit is the NRA... But since the NRA has lost over a million members since all the corruption allegations have come out, the only suits they can probably afford or the new one's for Wayne.
Just saw the best ad. a braced pistol that MUST be transferred through a FFL. What FFL is going to do that right now?
