Basic handgun training for wife

Finally got my wife to get a gun. Took her to shop and let her pick what she wanted. Yesterday she called and said she was on her way to get her GWL. Now I need to get her some basic training. She will learn better from someone other than me. Any recommendations for northeast Georgia around Athens or Franklin county? I don’t want to get divorced or shot. Thanks

Women on Target is a great place to start. The instructors are female as are all the students. The class offers classroom time, lunch is provided, with range time in the afternoon. The class is offered at River Bend Gun Club. Go to RBGC.org and look at the calendar for the next class. The class is open to nonmembers.

Brian Hill of The Complete Combatant does classes in Dahlonega. He and Claude Werner sometimes team up for ladies only classes.
