Be Careful when you buy water This is a bunch of BULL ****

I've been through interviews and background checks where there are 500 applicants for each job opening. They always ask if you have ever been arrested, if you say no and they find a record, expunged or not, and they will find it, you are out of there. If you say yes and explain that the charges were dropped, you are out of there. There are exceptions, but an arrest of any kind is not a check mark in the plus column. I'm pro LEO, but what happened to these girls is despicable, as are no knock warrants, check points, and felony stops for parking tickets. Police presence, not police intimidation, is what I expect from our LEO's and elected officials. I am sure you see it differently.
Any over reach is a problem as far as I am concerned. No Knocks used to be signed with out question, now you can get one but they are very difficult to get a judges signature, as they should be.Felony stop for a traffic ticket would be excessive IMHO, and check points should be used sparingly. Any good police proceedure can be abused, but that doesn't mean that is was the proceedure that was wrong, usually it was the implementation of it that was wrong. In most cases the officer(s) was wrong in the over reach, not the proceedure. Just as with the Gwinnett blood draws, I suspect it will be found as an overeach. The warrant is fine if there is serious injury or death, but this seams to be excessive at first glance. I would like to know more before I make a informed comment.

The record will show as charges dropped and will not show on any type of public record or job searches.

my wife has a mug shot online which shows her parents address and no charges were given...not to mention she was a minor at the time. easy information to get by ANYONE. I would have thought as a minor that the state could not allow this info be seen...This was many years ago...before the wise cracks begin.

What if these girls were concealed carry and pulled and fired? then they would be charged with killing or wounding an officer and their entire life would be in the *****ter...over beer. I think whom ever made the call for the sting to take place should be fired or charged with attempted man slaughter.
This is going to be the most stupid thing I hear/read today.

Call me old school, but I am of the belief that I would prefer ten guilty people go free than one innocent person be falsely accused. All laws begin with good intentions, yet they ALWAYS end up over reaching their intent by over zealous officials. And in the end, its these same officials who spend taxpayer resources spinning or covering up the wrong doing rather than address it head on. Whenever a LEO misbehaves or abuses their power, it would be refreshing to see every other LEO in the nation stand up and vehemently oppose said conduct and insist the offending officer find a new line of work. Instead, you hear nothing but the crickets chirping...........or the occasional "why does everyone hate LEO's" whine fest. :D

it was over water actually

the police in this case (no pun intended) apparently suck at situational awareness and observation skills

It almost appears that to get most LEO to criticize their brethren is like getting a "moderate Muslim" to criticize the fanatics.

but do you have any idea how hard that job is :)
