Best 1980's truck to buy for a project

One of the least expensive "hot rods" you can build is a late 80s S10 with a 350 transplant.

Back in the late 80's early 90's
Allen Vigil or Gene Evens Ford"can't remember the name "
on 19/41 & Morrow Industrial Blvd had 4 custom F150s
with factory hot tubs for the bed.

I went there with my dad and brother
to check them out.

I've never seen another one or even
the mention of one, but I would love
to locate one myself.

the 73-91 K-5 Blazers are going up in price

all the chevys rust in the doors and the bottom rear cab corners

unless you do like we did and get one from Arizona

I remember those. During the same time period Terry Cullen had a few S10 extended cab trucks set up as duallys with fiberglass beds. A few were also hot tubs.
