I have several I keep in my pack. A fixed blade camping knife, can also skin game with. I keep a kabar bowie knife for wood processing, a serrated folder for wood, and my firehawk axe that has has a compression fire starter built into the handle. I don't believe there is a 1 knife that can do it all. If I could only pick one, the firehawk would be it

Benchmade Nimravus, I have one of the older ones with the lizard scale grips

Glock 81 Field Knife, it's cheap and tough. I re-edged the blade, took hours but it was worth it and I stippled and sanded the grips. I polished the blade on mine then stropped it on leather
