Please elaborate. How so? I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just asking why you feel this way.BoS create as many if not more issues than they solve.
The only reason LE would ever get hold of it would be if they had a warrant to search my house. Which would mean that they have substantial evidence against me in a crime that would convince a judge to issue a search warrant for my house. If you don't break the laws that would give them reason to search your house, then this is a mute point.HTRDNCK said:If you have a folder of BoS from years of trading. and law enforcement gets hold of it...
A misspelled last name on a BoS is a lot better than "Honest officer, I sold that gun to some guy with black hair in the Publix parking lot a couple years ago. I think his name was Bob".HTRDNCK said:Factual accuracy on paperwork is a real problem.
Respectfully disagree with the "detrimental" comment. And I don't think signing a piece of paper is that big of a hoop to jump through.HTRDNCK said:Just simply comply with what the law requires and don't make up new rules and hoops to jump through. It is this ultimately detrimental to the hobby we all love.
Again, I'm not saying you're wrong. I just disagree with you. And if we can agree to disagree, then that's fine.
