You can also get the cheap wire frames for realtor style signs, and they often come with plain white screens on them that you can staple or tape targets into. Should be $15 each or less, just push them into the grass and off you go.

I've seen orange construction fence and rebar used on many WMA ranges. Definitely one of the cheapest options.

What type of targets and the caliber of gun. PVC will not hold up to being hit by a bullet. If you are training kids to shoot one will end up shooting a PVC stand breaking it and ending the day.

Once the PVC base is done, just get you some cheapo sticks at the garden supply and you're set.

Those vote for xxxxxxxx signs that pop up on every corner and yard make great, reusable or disposable target stands. If you know anyone that ran for anything they probably have a garage full. I pull em up after its over and use em in the back yard, roll of masking tape and paper targets/paper plates is all you need.

Made these out of 2x4’s if you use nuts and bolts instead of screws you can take them apart for transport in a truck
