Took apart my GA Optimus for cleaning yesterday. Found several pieces of jacket material inside. Tiny one on the inside of the exit cap, 4 on the inside of the first baffle (between the 1st and 2nd baffles).
No damage on the baffles or piston, or fixed barrel spacer. Nothing bent, scratched, etc.

I used is on G19 with a SilencerCo barrel and Sub2K.

Do not know what to think. Ammo used was Speer Lawman in 147gr and Wolf in 115gr.

Thoughts? Will take pics tonight.

Does it have any shiny spots on the suppressor ? Is the threading straight ? It only takes a few .001's to make a real light kiss on a baffle

The only shine spot I saw was on the outside wall of the baffle, the part that lays flat against the wall of the case. That's where a key is pressed into the baffle, so the outside of the baffle might not be perfectly round.

IN for answer.

I haven't had this problem, but you never know. I have only used factory FMJ through my pistol cans though; super and subs. Federal, American Eagle, Fiocchi, and Georgia Arms I think is all I've used; no issues.
