Buying ATV out of state.

We bought 2 ATVs from Southern Honda Powersports in Chattanooga last week. Has anybody else done this and if so did you ever get a tax bill from Georgia for them? My wife is freaking out about it and I'm just trying to figure out what to expect.

I've known several people that have bought from them. No tax bill coming your way.

I think that only has to do with a vehicle that needs to be registered.....

If you paid cash, you're good. If you financed em you will get a tax bill. I bought a 4 wheeler back in 2000 from a dealership in MS and 6 miss later got a tax bill cause I paid through a local bank.

bought one in tn.that was registered. never heard or saw anything else ref taxes. the foreman was one of the best things i ever bought. glwp

When you financed them, did your financial institution make the check directly to the dealership?
That's what mine did and that same year I got a sales tax bill! I bought my Forman from Lake hill motorsports in corinth ms.
